Patiala, 31st August 2024: Shri P.B. Ninawe, Additional Member (RS) of the Railway Board, visited Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW) on 31st August 2024. Shri Pramod Kumar, Principal Chief Accounts Officer (PCAO), and other officers of PLW warmly welcomed Shri Ninawe upon his arrival.
During his visit, Shri Ninawe explored various shops and store wards that house locomotive accessories. He took the opportunity to interact with the workers and staff, commending their dedication and efforts in managing the inventory and ensuring the smooth functioning of the stores.
In addition to his tour, Shri Ninawe provided valuable suggestions to the staff to further improve the management of the store wards. He also held a meeting with PLW officers, where he discussed various aspects of material management and addressed challenges related to store operations. Shri Ninawe shared his insights and advice on how to optimize processes and increase material management efficiency.

The Kanha Ji Chatti Festival
Mahila Mandal Shiv Mandir Partap Nagar, Patiala, has been actively involved in organising religious events and community service programs. They have made a significant impact on the local community.
They have celebrated the Kahana Ji Ke Chatti festival on August 26, 2024 with great enthusiasm and devotion for the past 10 years. Their dedication to preserving cultural traditions and serving the community has garnered widespread appreciation. The Mahila Mandal continues to inspire others with their commitment to promoting unity and spirituality through their initiatives.
Malti Sharma and all members sang the bhajans and aarti at the end of the event, filling the room with a sense of peace and harmony. They have distributed panjeri as parsad to all the attendees. On this occasion , everyone felt a deep connection to each other and to a higher power. All participants left feeling grateful for the spiritual experience. On this occasion, Malti Sharma president, Nirmal Sharma secretary, Darshan Goel cashier, Smt. Asha Dubbi vice president, Anita Mittal vice secretary, Mrs. Ramesh Seth, Mrs. Kamla Goel, Mrs. Sita Devi, and Mrs. Madhu Ji also sang the bhajan, and all the other board members were in attendance.
