Educational Tour to Punjab Police Academy

BAHRA COLLEGE OF LAW Students Explore Forensic Science and Policing Techniques.

Students of BAHRA COLLEGE OF LAW, alongwith Faculty members have visited the prestigious Punjab Police Academy in Phillaur as part of an educational tour aimed at providing practical exposure to forensic science and modern policing techniques. During the visit, students had the unique opportunity to explore various departments of the academy, including the state-of-the-art forensic science lab. Experts at the academy demonstrated real-world techniques used in crime scene investigation.

The students were also briefed on the role of forensic science in criminal justice and how scientific methods support law enforcement in solving complex cases. Vice Principal Ms.Baljinder kaur and Campus Director,Dr. Sanjiv Kumar has congratulated staff members for successfully organised this visit for students and highlighted in this visit students witnessed first hand application of forensic principles and expressed their gratitude to Dr. Jaswinder singh(cordinator)and his staff for hospitality and providing such enriching learning experience.

World Mental Health Day Seminar at Bahra College of Law

The event centred around a crucial theme: “Navigating the Intersection of HIV/AIDS and Mental Health.”

Health: Rights, Challenges, and Coping Strategies.” The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the mental health challenges faced by individuals living with HIV/AIDS, while emphasising their rights and mental well-being. Esteemed dignitaries graced the event.

Rishi Pal Sharma, Editor in Chief, Ms. Baljinder Kaur, Vice Principal, Bahra College of Law, Patiala, faculty members, and students. Ms. Rupali Sharma, Assistant Professor of Law, delivered an insightful.

The session focused on understanding the HIV/AIDS Act: protecting rights and promoting health. The seminar also included a panel discussion on coping strategies for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and mental health issues, providing valuable insights and resources for support. Overall, the event successfully shed light on the importance of addressing mental health in conjunction with HIV/AIDS treatment and care.

The seminar concluded with motivational words from Rishi Pal Sharma, followed by an award ceremony.

The Vice-Principal of Bahra College of Law oversees the B.A.LLB.-5 year students from Arunima and Sampuran.

The course also participated in the National Youth’s state-level poster-making competition.
