The Cleanliness Champion Program is conducted at Civil Lines School.

Honored to the cleaning workers of the city

Patiala, November 20:
Today, on the occasion of “World Toilet Day,” Harpic India, in association with Municipal Corporation Patiala, organized the “Swachhata Champion” program at Civil Lines Senior Secondary School. Encourage and honor the sanitation workers who are doing good work in different parts of the city. Mr. Rashid Ansari, the chief coordinator of Harpic India, where capacity-building training was given to the cleaners, also informed them about new technologies.
Mr. Jagtar Singh, Sanitary Inspector, congratulated all the sanitation workers for their excellent contribution to cleanliness.
The cleaners have an important contribution to the overall development of the city because, without cleanliness, the smooth functioning of a city is not possible. Mr. Jawala Singh (community facilitator) and Mr. Mandeep Singh (community facilitator)


On this occasion, Mr. Amandeep Sekhon (an IEC expert) said that it is the duty of every citizen to keep every country clean, and therefore, it is very important to divide household waste into two parts (wet and dry). The list of honorees included Charanjit Singh, Sanju Kumari, Menu Panman, Kulwinder Singh, Gurtej Singh, Jasveer Singh, Rabinder Singh, Maninder Singh, and Jarnail Singh.Mr. Mandeep Singh administered an oath to all the people present in the program to maintain cleanliness.At the end of the program, Mrs. Varinder Batish, Principal Civil Lines Senior Secondary School, thanked the cleaning workers, Municipal Corporation Patiala team, school staff, and especially Rashid Ansari.
