Patiala, December 7:
Additional District Magistrate Anuprita Johal, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No. 2 of 1974), seized gutka, pan masala, and other edibles, including tobacco and nicotine, within the limits of District Patiala, or by selling or serving drugs in different food and drink items or by mixing these drugs in different flavors, etc., to any hookah bar, hotel, restaurant, etc., and running such hookah bars. A complete ban has been issued. This order issued by the Additional District Magistrate will remain in force until February 5, 2024.
