Samana residents will get a new bus stand at a cost of Rs 6 crore. Jauramajra – A state-of-the-art bus stand will be built on 2 acres of land in place of the old bus stand, the Cabinet Minister said. The present government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, believes in working immediately instead of lorries. Samana, November 30: Samana city residents and passengers from the surrounding areas will be handed over a new bus stand at a cost of Rs 6 crore. Disclosing this here today, Punjab Information and Public Relations Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra said that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has fulfilled the long-pending demand of the people of Samana and has also released a grant for the same.

Chetan Singh Jauramajra visited the old bus stand at Samana today, where a new bus stand is to be constructed. He said that the work order has also been issued by issuing a tender for the construction of a new and state-of-the-art bus stand on 2 acres of land here. He said that a solar system and rainwater harvesting system would also be installed on the roof of the bus stand. The Minister for Mines and Geology, Water Resources, Water and Soil Conservation, Horticulture, Freedom Fighters, and Defence Services Welfare, Jauramajra, said that the present government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, does not believe in plowing the fields like the previous governments but believes in doing the work immediately.

Jauramajra said that even during the previous governments, the residents of Samana were engaged in the construction of this bus stand, but this bus stand was never built. But the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Singh Mann, understood the problems of the residents of Samana and immediately released a grant for this. He said that the work on the new bus stand is going to start very soon. On this occasion, Mr. Charanjit Singh, Executive Officer, Mr. Barjinder Singh, Principal Architect, Chandigarh, Mr. Bachittar Singh, Senior Architect, Mr. Sanch Kapoor, and Mr. Aniket gave information about the design and other aspects of the new bus stand. On this occasion, Gurdev Singh Gill, Dalbir Singh Gill, Gurpreet Singh Gill, Harpreet Singh, Bikram Singh, Baljinder Singh Pheloke, Gurbhej Singh, Harpavit Singh Gill, Jugraj Singh, Nawab Singh, and others were also present.
