PSPCL Director Admin Jasbir Singh Sur Singh meets with representatives from several organizations.

December 7, Tarn Taran:

Jasbir Singh Sur Singh, the Director of Administration of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), held talks with representatives from various circles to improve and maintain continuous energy supply.

The aim of these continuous conversations, spearheaded by Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is to continuously enhance power distribution and offer superior electrical services to consumers. Director Admin Jasbir Singh Sur Singh met at the highest level with representatives from Tarn Taran, Amritsar City, Civil Subdivision Amritsar, and P and M Circle Amritsar as part of this project.

The introduction of feeder-wise metering in Tarn Taran was discussed throughout the sessions, with an emphasis on initiating the installation of prepaid meters. Preparing the plan to include those who have installed single- and three-phase private transformers in the PSPCL system was another topic of discussion.

In addition, officials were urged to compile information on the computers needed in the workplace for the benefit of patrons and to forward the information to the IT department.

Additionally, Director Admin talked about the potential for the Border Zone area to host a solar installation program. Sur Singh also addressed the issue of open posts in the Tarn Taran Circle’s part-time cleaning crew and gave officials instructions to submit the necessary information so that the positions may be filled.

In addition, he investigated the status of moving the tubewells that are linked to the municipal feeders and requested information on them.

Sur Singh received information on the current state of authorized and unapproved maintenance projects in the Civil Subdivision under the Border Zone. Along with learning the current state of the power outages in the Patti and Bhikhiwind regions, he also looked at ways to reduce them.

Sur Singh checked the progress of the new building being built at Hall Gate and asked about the PSPCL property’s demarcation in the village of Bharariwal, both of which fall under Amritsar City.

Er Mohtam Singh Dy, CE circle Tarn Taran, Er Sukhraj Bahadur Singh Marhala, ASE O&M Tarn Taran, Er Simar Pal Singh, ASE Hakima Gate, Er Sarabjit Sharma, ASE East Amritsar, Er Guriqbal Singh, ASE Civil, construction division Amritsar, and others attended the meetings. Er Satinder Sharma is the CE BORDER zone representative for Amritsar.
