The language department will conduct the Punjabi proficiency exam on March 10.

The deadline for submitting forms is March 6th.Patiala, February 7: Director of Language Department Harpreet Kaur said that one of the qualifications prescribed for the posts in groups C and above is that candidates must have passed Matriculation Level Punjabi. For candidates who do not have matriculation-level Punjabi proficiency, this department will conduct a Punjabi proficiency test of such candidates on March 10, 2024 (Sunday).

The deadline for submitting the form will be March 6, 2024. As before, the examination will be held at the Head Office of the Department, Bhasha Bhawan, Sheranwala Gate, Patiala. He said that the fee for this examination will be two thousand rupees, which will be collected in cash. Candidates submitting the form should bring original certificates of 10th, 12th, and graduation and their attested copies, one 30×25 cm. self-addressed envelope with postage stamps of Rs. 40/-, and five passport-size photographs of the same snap (out of which two photographs must be attested by a gazetted officer) with a light-colored background and clothing.
